Luxury Champagne producer, Veuve Clicquot, has announced that it will be the headline sponsor for highly anticipated eighties music festival GOLD. The unique gathering takes place at members club 10 Castle Street, in Cranborne, Dorset on Sunday 28th June 2020

GOLD, in partnership with Veuve Clicquot, is a one-day celebration of eighties fashion and music, with special guest artists performing throughout the day and evening.

Veuve Clicquot is part of Moët Hennessy, the wines and spirits arm of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, the world’s leading luxury group. Other brands in its established portfolio include Dom Pérignon, Moët & Chandon, Belvedere and Chopin.

Moët Hennessy’s Paul Lenik: “We’re delighted to be partnering with GOLD. 10 Castle Street is a fabulous location, and we look forward to being a part of this year’s inaugural event, presenting the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Garden, where attendees will be treated to VIP hospitality throughout the day and into the evening.”

GOLD’s Benjamin Reynolds: “Veuve Clicquot is synonymous with quality and style, and as such, we consider the partnership to be very much in line with our vision for GOLD. Due to popular demand we have reconfigured the festival site, and have extended the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Garden, which will now host up to 400 guests, with multiple exclusive features and entertainment to heighten the experience. There will now be 1 main stage, where all acts will perform, which is in a central location with great access for all guests. The wider event itself is shaping up nicely too – we are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone on the 28th June.”

What to expect at GOLD 2020

Attendees will be treated to the musical delights of the legendary Martin Kemp, who has been announced as the star guest DJ. Kemp was a member of Spandau Ballet, an English new wave band formed in Islington, London, in 1979. Inspired by the capital’s post-punk underground dance scene, they emerged at the start of the 1980s as the house band for the Blitz Kids, playing as “The Applause” for this new club culture’s audience.

Touring Motown show, Wonderband, are joined by a host of the nations best 80s tribute acts, from Queen to Whitney Houston, alongside local legends Martyn The Hat, Jay Rachet, Mike Artwell, Paul Kinvig, Chris Payn, and more to be announced. You can view the lineup HERE.

Contributing to the on-site excitement of GOLD will be a selection of food trucks from crowd-pleasing local caterers, alongside a number of luxury retailers, who will showcase exclusive products available for purchase to commemorate the day.
